Our recent Bunnings BBQ fundraiser was a huge success! We raised enough money to cover our group fees for the year, which means that each child will save over $100. This is a great relief for families, and it will allow us to continue offering our high-quality programs to all children.
In addition to raising money, the fundraiser was also a great opportunity for our cubs and scouts to learn and grow. They learned how to serve customers, build customer skills, and for the older scouts, some business skills in running a small fundraiser. Everyone had a lot of fun, and we are grateful for the support of our community.
With the funds we raised, we will be renewing our tents and purchasing the poles and pegs to have 8 x 3 people tents available for the group. We will also be purchasing new night materials, badges, and more. We are excited to use these funds to improve our programs and provide even more opportunities for our cubs and scouts to learn and grow.
